I've chosen to record with Christopher time and time again because of his
excellent ear, grounded presence, and top-notch recording and production
skills. Add to that the fact that he's a great guy, an awesome drummer,
and has a beautiful studio surrounded by trees and nature, and you just
can't go wrong!
Christopher is an extraordinary musician and a great recording engineer. He is able to translate my ideas as quickly as I can speak them and knows how to keep the creative and emotional flow of a session going. Without a doubt my favorite tracking engineer on the west coast. . . Awesome to work with. Awesome person. (And he should move to Maui so we can be closer. . . .)
Not only is Christopher K a highly capable musician and engineer, but he has a great deal of sensitivity for the project. His interest is to enhance your work in order to let it shine. He has attention to detail, a good ear and is easy to work with. I have already scheduled additional sessions with him for my next project!

I am sitting here listening to the CD Chris mixed for us, and I am blown away at the quality of sound! We worked on this project in multiple studios, with different mics and conditions over the course of a year and a half. Chris successfully helped us to bring it all together and make it sound like one body of music. The separation is great and the tonal quality and attention to detail is superb. I still really get off on listening to the recordings I did at your studio- I get all tingly whenever I hear Creation Song, from the Reeking Havok Amnesia album.
The work you did on that song, percussion and overall mixing really brought the energy to an intensely emotive, spiritual level for me.
Actually the whole CD is still inspiring to listen to.
Also, in my opinion, the work you did on Sweet Romance produced the best possible outcome for that CD, thank you!!
