C.K., always surrounded by music and coupled with formal training, encouraged him develop into an accomplished multi-instrumentalist/composer/music producer, with an emphasis on drums amd percussion.
Having a diverse experience of the music industry, C.K. has worked as music producer, composer, performer and sound engineer in a wide variety of musical styles, from indie-electro -rock to Klezmer jazz and electronica to world music sessions. All of this combines to form a rich palette from which he can draw compositional inspiration and fresh production techniques.
As a live performer, starting out at age of 16, C.K. began drumming in the Bay Area jazz, latin and indie rock scene. From there he aquired a keen interest in engineering and music production while making records in many of the famed studios of the Bay Area, inluding the Record Plant, Praire Sun, Brilliant Studios and Laughing Tiger. For C.K. the natural evolution from engineer to producer to composer was inevitable and since 1999 he has owned and operated his own recording/writing facilties in majestic Marin County California, including 7 Generations Studios, which he built on his property in the San Geronimo Valley.
C.K. is gaining momentum as a composer, working with digital media companies such as eMotion Studios, and clients that include Nasa, HP, Adobe, Apple, Trek and NVDIA.
Projects with GIAIM, Sean Corn, Suzanne Sterling and others have garnered awards and critical aclaim.
C.K. always endeavors to develop an exciting, innovative new sound, which is reflected in the records and compositions he has been involved with over the past 2 decades.
